The night’s carnage left some 3,000 African Americans dead, and over 600 successful businesses lost. Among these were 21 churches, 21 restaurants, 30 grocery stores and two movie theaters, plus a hospital, a bank, a post office, libraries, schools, law offices, a half-dozen private airplanes and even a bus system.

Greenwood was never "bombed from the air" although the riot was definitely a tragic incident and a national embarrassment. However, it has been 89 years since the riots. Why was it not been rebuilt to its former prosperity in that time?

lets say he does leave and goes to africa. He would actually see what discrimination is there. The people in many of the countries would mistreat him because they do not know what tribe his ancestors are from. I work with a black woman who married a man from nigeria. When she came back from the three week trip she said she would never return because of how the nigerians were mean and racist toward her.

If an educated black entrepreneur built up a successful business in a black majority area today, the ghetto trash would call him an "Uncle Tom" and his business would be robbed daily and his building would be vandalized or burned to the ground.
Blacks have nobody to blame except themselves in contemporary times.
