I don’t think we …
I don’t think we should use ethanol, because of the food prices rising in all countries including the 3rd world countries, which frankly need it to be lower the most. But the down side of using just oil as a energy source is the contributing cause of global warming. So the solution to this problem is to simply use hydro elect., wind, and electricity. All renewable sources.

1/3 of America’s corn isn’t that bad for what it’s worth. In Australia and America, and some other countries, we waste a ridiculous amount of food. Food that could mean the lives of people in poor countries. Or in this case biofuels.

Umm… It is …
Umm… It is related to the title. The entire world depends on oil. We use way too much of it, there are expected shortages, which would cause massive problems. But just the fact that we do expect problems means that speculation is causing problems right now, the problems that started a want and need for biofuel. But biofuel isn’t the holy grail we think it is. It also has some nasty problems that we’ll be dealing with as soon as oil is out of our way.

Have you guys noticed a lot of this video isn’t at all related to the title of the video? Bio-fuels will push the price of some commodities up but the price of oil will come down. Making peoples life better anyway because goods will become cheaper bringing us back to point A but with cleaner energy.
Strong video. But doesn’t serve its correct purpose and delivers information from a very narrow viewpoint.

Heres an idea, invade saudi oil facilities, and give an allowance to the saudis to keep the happy, use this practically free oil to boost our economy, and piggyback green onto the military like we did with the interstate, nuclear, space, air, computers, and several other things and make the military green so as too pay for the research and make it affordable and to then let the private sector take over, and then we leave saudi arabia, problem solved
