And how long until there is no more fresh water in the world?
Seeking statistical information. Thanks in advance.
The oil wells will never dry up – that is, some will but there will always be some oil available for production. What will happen is the costs of finding, producing and refining will one day exceed the costs of alternatives and the industry will come to a halt. It will not crash and burn but will slow down like an automobile out of gas and coasting to a stop.
I offer two sites with world oil stats. That they may differ is a given as there are some uncertainties out there that some folks are more comfortable than others
Now – fresh water. I have no data but only the knowledge that, for all the science and development in agriculture today, humanity and it’s food are competing for fresh water in many locales today and it’s only going to get worse as the population grows, It is my belief that the planet will set things back in balance one day by striking the human population with something similar to the black plague or an equivalent..
