    dude, im telling u the fact that we ve got.I know, you Armenian re just trying to poke ur noses in our oil, even thoug no one mentions anything about your MANTASHEV,since he doesnt have a big role in this boom.I ve checked from Wikipedia, in fact he got participated in several projects,but He died in 1911 and one should be mentioned that the boom just started at 1911.

    Who was Alexander Mantashev? I dont have any idea about this guy.I am from Baku as well, but we didnt have any idea about this guy.I havent read any article connected his deeds in Baku Oil Boom at the beginnig of 19 century.

    How about mentioning “Alexander Mantashev” (Mntashian) an Armenian who had huge stakes in the Caspian oil???

    In 1894 he created a tentative ociation along with the other major oil interests in Russia, the Nobels and the Rothschilds, in order to cooperate in the marketing of petroleum products within certain geographical areas.
