Bust Follows boom. It’s the natural order of things, FDR had to put up with the bust form the boom of the 20’s, Nixon, Ford and Carter had to deal with the bust of the 70’s which followed the 60’s boom…

Presidents, Democrat or Republican, have a lot less to do with the process as you would like to believe.

I hate to tell you this but technology isn’t a republican/democratic thing. And if you did some real research you’d see that under both parties there has been a ‘tech boom’. It’s called progress that doesn’t wait for either party. And your claim about republicans giving money to their buddies made me laugh, you seem to have no clue who is getting rich in this administration.

"Green tech boom" we have been promised that for years. The best I have seen is a bunch of temp low wage jobs that no American can raise a family on. Looking back on the republican years I see steady growth, 5% unemployment and the dow hit 14000. Compared to what Obama is doing I wish we had Bush back. And if you think we are going to see economic growth you are living in a fools Paradise.

Apparently you missed the economic boom of the 1980's that was heavily the result of the political insight of Ronald Reagan, A Republican who helped pulled America out of the 1970's malaise that was destroying our economic future. You also seem to forget that George W. Bush was in office during the financial boom which followed 9/11 when our economy survived the horrors of 9/11 and then stock market climbed to record highs just a few years ago!
