    Elephants have both …
Elephants have both an extremely thick hide and an extremely thick skull.

There is an opening in the middle of their skull where their sinuses are, that will allow a brainshot. This target is generally about 4″x4″ max.

Even with a .577 magnum, like in the vid, it is still not very likely you will score a brain shot unless the bullet goes through that opening.

Even at contact range, I highly doubt any round a Glock could fire would have the penetration power to make it all the way to the brain

KoresNinja, have you ever been hunting big game?? A glock simply does not have the penetrating power to take down a jumbo, an elephant has quite a unique brain placement. It may be theoretically possible but in the real world…..dream on buddy

    the 577 is stronger …
the 577 is stronger when its 150 yards and closer. 50 bmg is generally, in a rifle/pistol platform, designed to shoot atleast 200 yards. 50 cal rifles are generally only used past 1,000 yards where as a 308 would be sufficient inside 1,000 yards. After 150 yards the fat pig of a 577 loses alot of power. You are only correct if you are incorrectly comparing 2 things that function totally differently my friend.
